The news is One Piece,
the popular live-action version of Eiichiro Oda's best-selling manga, will
release its second season on Netflix.
After the show finished
its second week at the top of Netflix's Top 10 with another leading
international show news of second season made. Live adaption of season one was
released on 31st August 2023.
The manga series live
adaption of one piece by Eiichiro Oda, histories the fantastic adventures of
Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they travel to widespread islands and
boundless seas in search of the legendary "One Piece" in order to become
the next Pirate King.
The Straw Hats performed
by Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and
Taz Skylar (Sanji), Iaki Godoy stars as Monkey D. Luffy.
Steven Ward, Morgan
Davies, Aidan Scott, Vincent Regan, Jeff Ward, Craig Fairbrass, Langley
Kirkwood, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Ilia Isorel's Paulino, and Chioma
Umeala are also in the cast. McKinley Belcher III is another actor.
The show's writer,
executive producer, and showrunner is Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke
Cage, and Lost). Executive producers are Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky
Clements.
Live adaption of One
Piece is produced by the collaboration of Shueisha with Tomorrow Studios and
Netflix.
Executive producer (and
creator of the original manga) Eiichiro Oda said in video announcing the pickup
on Thursday:
“To the Straw Hat Grand Fleet: What did you think of Season 1 of the live-action One Piece? I spent a long time working on it with Netflix and Tomorrow Studios. It seems people around the world have been enjoying the show, which makes the hard work from the production team truly worth it. To everyone who’s been a fan of One Piece for years, and to those who experienced One Piece for the first time, thank you so much. Two weeks after the launch, I just received some great news: Netflix has decided to renew the show! The adventures of Iñaki and the live-action Straw Hats will continue onward! It’ll still take a while to get the scripts ready, so please be patient. From here on, it seems to me the Straw Hats will need a great doctor… We will see!”
