All the seven members of BTS renewed their contract with Big Hit Music

Its
officially announced that all the seven members will continue their music journey
with HYBE (Big Hit Music) for next 10 years

shared this on September 20, “The board of directors has completed [their
decision] on renewing the exclusive contracts of all seven members of BIGHIT
MUSIC’s artist BTS.”
After
making their debut in June 2013, the band’s first contract with BIGHIT
was term from 2013 to 2020. But they renewed their contract much in
advance, in 2018. The second contract would have expired in 2025, 2025 was the
year when all BTS members are supposed to return from their mandatory military
service.

According
to a statement shared by Big Hit’s parent company HYBE.
“BigHit
Music will take into consideration the military service status of some of the
members and plans to sign with each BTS member sequentially,”
“The
members who are currently serving in the military will have completed their
military duty by the start of the renewed exclusive contract period in 2025.”
“HYBE
and BIGHIT MUSIC will provide all support necessary to continue to expand and
elevate BTS’ presence.”
Last
summer, BTS announced they were going on a hiatus as some members will complete
their service and others pursue their solo careers. All seven members of the most
famous South Korean band have entered the Billboard charts on their own.
Big Hit also announced a
donation of 1 billion South Korean won to the Korean Committee for UNICEF as
part of the Love Myself campaign, “a gesture of gratitude to BTS and their
fans, ARMY” which launched in November 2017 in collaboration with BTS.
