Billboard announced that V had entered its Top 200 Albums chart, On September 17 local time for the first time as a solo artist.

V’s first solo album “Layover” debuted on the Billboard 200 at No. 2, binding the record set by his group mates Jimin and Suga for the highest ranking ever achieved on the chart by a Korean solo album.

The Album has six tracks, the previously released “Rainy Days,” “Blue,” first cut “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing,” “For Us” and a bonus track piano version of “Slow Dancing” and BigHit announces that all the tracks should be played in a specific order. 

According to Luminate,

 “Layover” earned a total of 100,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on September 14. The album’s total score consisted of 88,000 traditional album sales and 9,000 streaming equivalent album units, which translates to 12.95 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. “Layover” also racked up 3,000 track equivalent album units in its first week.

All five tracks will have official music videos.
