Ed Sheeran talks about
why he dug his grave in home’s backyard#Edsheeran, #music, #sheerio, #sheerios, #Edsheeranperfect, #shapeofyou, #singer, #celebrity, #celebritynews, #justinbieber, #taylorswift, #guitar, #edsheeransongsThe famous English singer/songwriter
wants to die with proper ‘will’.
The “Shape of You” singer
shares the reason he dug his own grave and built a chapel in the backyard of
his house.
The 32-yesr-old singer
said about the grave,
“It’s a hole that’s dug
in the ground with a bit of stone over it, so whenever the day comes and I pass
away, I get to go in there,”
The Grammy award winner said
that he built his final resting place in his own residence, so that his children
and his relatives could visit him after he passes away.
“People think it’s really
weird and really morbid, but I’ve had friends die without wills, and no one
knows what to do.”
He also cleared the thing
about building a “crypt” behind his home.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a
crypt,” the singer told GQ, that what he built is actually to bewail the
people he’s lost who have been cremated in a proper way.
This emotional step of Ed
Sheeran seems to be a product of him suffering from the loss of several loved one’s
the past few years.
The singer lost his
mentor Michael Gudinski in 2021, and his best friend Jamal Edwards the next
year. His close friend and cricketer Shane Wane also died a few weeks later.
